Minimum Qualifications, Experience, and Education
Experience: Minimum of year of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
Education: Current Alabama State RN licensure or MSL and must be in good standing. BLS required.

Experience: One year experience in clinic or urgent care setting. Phlebotomy and Medical Assistant experience preferred.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

Education: Certified CMA is strongly preferred, but not required. High school diploma or GED required.

Job Summary
The nurse practitioner provides comprehensive direct patient care and scholarly practice including obtaining comprehensive patient histories, performing complete physical examination, ordering and performing diagnostic testing and screening, diagnosing illness, prescribing both pharmacological and other treatments for patients, and providing health maintenance and promotion interventions such as patient and family education and counseling.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience, and Education
Experience: One year clinic or urgent care setting preferred.
Education: Successful completion of a National Certification Exam for NP, current registration through the Alabama board of Nursing and Board of Medical Examiners.
